Damnationland About Us

Damnationland presents genre-defying original works from Maine filmmakers that redefine the classic thriller and horror categories. Now in its sixth year, the Damnationland 2016 program will feature a handful of world premieres of short films produced in Maine by Mainers especially for the Halloween season. These are dark, surreal, and fantastic pieces, and they offer film fans an excellent sampling of the talent producing independent film in Maine today.

Our world premiere for Damnationland 2016 is in October at the State Theatre in Portland, Maine, followed by dozens of screenings around world after that. Check out our Screenings page for full details!
